Today in RM.15, Garda Barry came in and told us about the dangers of fireworks and bonfires. Barry told us about fireworks and how you need a permit to light them. The danger of fireworks is that you could light one and it could combust and possibly break your hand. Then Barry told us about bonfires and how some can get out of control. The real danger of bonfires is that someone could have put an engine or petrol tank underneath the wood which will explode if caught on fire. The final thing Barry told us about was that if you are walking alone at night always carry some sort of light to alert cars or people, and to keep yourself visible at all times. Also if you ever see a Garda, don’t be afraid to say hi.
