On Saturday February 10th, I got to play in Croke Park at half time in the Dublin V Donegal match. It was a great experience for me because my dream was to play in Croke Park. Before we played we went into the dressing rooms to get changed. Then we found out that the opponents were Ballinteer St. Johns. After we got changed we watched the Dublin match from the stands and at about the 27th minute Mr.Toher led us down to the tunnel where we walk out. He got a picture with me then we were waiting for the ref to blow for half time. When he blew the whistle we walked onto the pitch. It was a dream come true to walk out onto the pitch in front of 21 thousand people. Straight away we started. I still couldn’t believe I was playing in Croke Park. Then I got the ball, went by two players and I was right in front of goal. I just hit it and it went in the top corner. That was the best moment of my life to score in front of such a big crowd. The final score was 2 goals to no score and after the game I was waving to the crowd and that was my day in Croker. I hope I get to play there again for Dublin.
