On Tuesday the 19th of November 2019, Dawn from Dogs Trust came in to our classroom and told us the responsibilities of owning a dog. We learned that a dog should have a certain amount of walks and meals every day. They should have a family to love and care for them. Then she told us about some general safety concerns about dogs, for example if you see a stray dog do not go up and pet it because anything could happen. She then was explaining that you should not disturb your own dog or anybody else’s dog while they are eating, sleeping or while they are in their bed. She also recommended researching some basic information about your potential pet like how much the dog you are getting will cost, how much food it will need per day and how much exercise, space, comfort and quietness it will need
