In late May Some of the sixth classes split in two and went to read with the younger classes. Half of their class stayed in their room, while the other came to ours. They brought a book and we helped them read it. We helped by giving assistance if they can’t read a word, taking turns while reading and overall help. I think it was fun as we get to see their reading level while improving both person’s reading. If the younger lad made a mistake then we let them sound it out and do it by themselves, but if they can’t then we tell them if we finished early we made a quick summary of the story to check our memory. If I could do it again I would as it was quite fun.
